Aboriginal Sport Circle / Indigenous Sport Development Strategy to Increase Indigenous Participation in the Canada Games Survey for Athletes, Coaches, Officials and Mission Staff |
Survey Introduction:
What / Why: The Aboriginal Sport Circle is seeking input from Indigenous people from across Canada who have participated in the Canada Games, North American Indigenous Games, or other Indigenous or mainstream high-performance sport pathways. Our goal is to gather your input and perspectives regarding the Canada Games in hopes of improving meaningful engagement with Indigenous peoples and prioritizing resource allocation regarding the Canada Games and Indigenous sport.
Who: You have been identified by your Provincial / Territorial Aboriginal Sport Body as someone who has participated in mainstream sport, NAIG and/or the Canada Games as an athlete, coach, official or mission staff. This survey is designed to gather your perspectives about your experience and what meaningful engagement of Indigenous individuals and communities means to you in relation to the Canadian sport system, specifically the Canada Games. We welcome your honest thoughts and opinions.
