Scholarship Overview

Welcome to the Gender Conference East Scholarship process.  We are so pleased that you are interested in attending the Gender Conference East, 2016 in Newark, NJ!  Please make sure read the following rules and procedures.

Applications and Registration
  • Scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Scholarship discounts are based upon regular registration prices.
  • Full scholarships are limited and priceless to some, please keep this in mind when applying for the different levels.
  • Scholarships cover registration fee's only. 
  • Unfortunately, we do not have funds to cover transportation or housing accommodations. If you are interested in staying with a local family, please contact us at info@genderconferenceeast.org with this request and we will do our best to find a host family for the conference weekend.   
  • Please only apply for yourself and or family members. No third party applications will be accepted.
  • Scholarship application deadline October 1, 2016.
  • Once you received your scholarship approval, you will have two weeks to register. If you have not registered by the end of the two week period, your scholarship will awarded to another person on the wait list.

Once you submit your scholarship application, we will review it and then email you with a response. Applications are due by October 1, 2016.
