For the eighth year in a row, the Town of Miami Lakes and the Economic Development Committee invites you to nominate your favorite local business for the Best of Miami Lakes' awards. Residents and visitors are encouraged to submit their favorites in eight different “Best” categories: Cup of Coffee, Lunch Spot, Dinner, Shopping, Beauty, Health Provider, Professional Service, and Fitness. For a business to be considered, they must be current on their Business Tax Receipt.

The winners of the Best of Miami Lakes Awards for 2024 will be announced on November 25, 2024, ahead of Small Business Saturday on the November 30 of this year.
Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses across the country. Founded by American Express in 2010, this day is celebrated each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and encourages people across the country to support small, local businesses. Small businesses makeup over 99% of the nation’s businesses and are the true drivers of our economy. From the mom-and-pop shops to the family-owned restaurants that bring our neighborhoods to life, be sure to show your support and celebrate small businesses and all they do for our communities.
