Our Gifford Woods - Community Consultation 2019 |
About this Survey
The woods are owned by and for the community and so it’s essential everything that happens with the woods is driven by you. There are various ways you can be involved. You can attend management meetings, volunteer in the woods or simply tell us what you think and then go about enjoying your woods.
We’ve brought together the various ideas already given by the community to see what has support to pursue. There’s a world of possibilities so we need you to tell us what you’d like to see happen over the next 3 to 5 years.
We’ve based this consultation around the 3 core aims that have emerged, which are to:
1. Care for our woods
2. Learn from our woods
3. Help our whole community share in our woods

What we’d like you to do?
For each aim tell us if you support it. Then you’ll see various ideas about what we could do to achieve each aim. These are simply a collection of what’s been suggested so far. We certainly won’t be pursuing everything, and we’re still keen to hear new ideas too.
For each elements select whether you agree / like, disagree / don't like or have no opinion either way.
Then there’s space for comments, questions or further ideas to help achieve each aim.
At the end there’s space for any general comments you’d like to make on both your hopes and any worries you have for our woods in the future.
