The Falkland Islands Development Corporation is pleased to be conducting the 2023 Business Climate Survey (BCS).
The BCS remains an important tool in gaining feedback from the business community and it will provide valuable information which will help inform future policy decision making. The results will capture a snapshot of how businesses feel the economy is performing, how they predict it will perform in the future and what they feel are the main barriers to economic growth.
We are pleased to be again partnering on the survey with the Falkland Islands Tourism Association (FITA), the Rural Business Association (RBA) and the Falkland Island Chamber of Commerce (FICOC). The aim, as always, is to increase the number of businesses completing the survey to ensure the results are as representative as possible of the business community so we would like to take this opportunity to thank the business associations for their continued support with the BCS.
The 2023 Business Climate Survey consists of 76 questions, separated into the following five sections: (1) Business Background, (2) Business Performance, (3) The Economy and FIDC, (4) Innovation and (5) Business Associations (FITA, FICOC and RBA). The vast majority of questions are multiple choice. Not all questions are essential, but please try and answer all questions as the information in your answers will help with setting policy and decision-making.
The survey opens on Friday the 31st of March 2023 and closes on Monday 1st May 2023. If you have any questions regarding the survey, wish to receive a hard copy instead or would like to discuss something specific please contact Talent Muzambi on telephone: +500 27211 or email: analyst@fidc.co.fk.
FIDC wish to express our thanks to you for taking the time to complete the survey. Please click on the button labelled 'Next' to begin answering the questions.
