Big Rivers Region Destination Management Plan

Big Rivers Region Destination Management Plan

The Department of Tourism, Sport and Culture (DTSC) has engaged Deloitte to work with industry and stakeholders to co-develop a Destination Management Plan (DMP) for the Big Rivers Region, with the intent to guide sustainable growth of the tourism industry.

The plan will discuss the following matters for the region:
  • opportunities for tourism development over the next 10 years;
  • how improved visitor experiences can be achieved;
  • the stakeholders that can contribute to destination enhancements; and
  • how the Big Rivers Region connects with other regions in the Territory.
Consultation is very important to the success of the DMP, and we welcome your input to the development of the plan.
