PROGRAM DETAILS
The National Center for Program Management and Fiscal Operations (PMFO) is pleased to offer a unique opportunity for new Head Start directors to expand their knowledge and practice, enhance their networks and improve performance and career development through a one-year mentor-mentee relationship with an effective and experienced Head Start director.

The 2025 New Director Mentor Initiative will kick off with a Live Learning Event that will be delivered IN-PERSON from March 4-6, 2025, on the UCLA campus. Attendance at the Live Learning Event is compulsory.

THERE IS NO REGISTRATION FEE TO ATTEND. TRAVEL AND PER DIEM IS PROVIDED.
WHO SHOULD APPLY
New Early Head Start or Head Start Directors who have been in their position for fewer than 3 years.
HEAD START DIRECTORS CHOSEN MUST COMMIT TO THE FOLLOWING:
* Attend the Live Learning Event Kick-Off from March 4-6, 2025, in Los Angeles, CA.

* Attend post-program check-in webinars as well as attend Training and Technical Assistance webinars on key Head Start Management Systems and Leadership and Governance (dates TBD).

* Participate and engage in a year-long, one-on-one interactive relationship with your mentor.
