NASCLA is conducting a job analysis as part of the process to develop and validate the NASCLA Accredited Examination for Power Limited Systems Contractor/Master classification. For the NASCLA Power Limited Systems Contractor/Master examination to be considered valid, NASCLA must demonstrate that the examination content is related to the content of the job. NASCLA has documented the contents of the Power Limited Systems Contractor/Master job by developing a list of all the tasks that can be performed on the job. NASCLA has also developed a list of the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) that a Power Limited Systems Contractor/Master must possess to successfully perform those job tasks. It is these KSAs that will be assessed on the NASCLA Accredited Examination for the Power Limited Systems Contractor/Master. The lists of tasks and KSAs in this survey were developed with the contribution of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with expertise in the Power Limited field. We now need the assistance of additional SMEs, such as yourself, to rate the Power Limited Systems Contractor/Master tasks and KSAs to determine the most important aspects of the job. The results of this survey will be used to determine the content areas that will be assessed on the licensure examination in multiple states.
Please complete each item in the questionnaire and submit it as soon as possible so your responses can be included in the analysis. Your participation is very important to the success of this project; your contributions will help ensure that future contractors possess the required qualifications to be licensed. Thank you in advance for your help.
