MEA Climate Change Survey

MEA has recently formed a new committee on the topic of Climate Change with a mandate to:
•  Share of knowledge and respond to rising questions regarding Mitigation, Adaptation and Resiliency with respect to climate change with a municipal lens.
•  Consolidate knowledge and provide unity on the topic of climate change

More specifically the Committee developed the following objectives:
•  Conduct a membership survey to:
-   Assess the status quo with respect to Climate Change
-   Assess MEA membership needs when it comes to knowledge on climate change
-   Collate references that other municipalities have found to be helpful
-   Consolidate efforts by municipalities to consider climate change mitigation, adaptation and resilience

•  Recommend best practices on Climate Change to be used in the MCEA process (Companion Guide)

•  Conduct literature scan to consolidate existing resources on climate change
