National Lived Experience Campaign Network - consultation |
1. Introduction
Adfam is a national charity that advocates for and supports those that are negatively affected by the substance use of a family member or loved one.
We are setting up a National Lived Experience Campaign Network, to bring people with lived experience of a family member's substance use together remotely, to campaign, raise awareness and influence change.
Free online training opportunities will be available to members of the network, to help develop new skills around storytelling and campaigning. Specific topics may include areas such as how to engage with local services, politicians, print media and social media.
We would like to hear from family members with lived experience about whether you would be interested in being involved in the network, what you think the network should look like in practice, and which kind of opportunities you would find most valuable.
The survey will take around 5 minutes to complete. If you would like to be involved in the network or would like to be included in future communications, please provide contact details when prompted at the end of the survey.
This survey will be open until Monday 2nd September 2024.
