ABOUT WORCESTER BID
Worcester Business Improvement District (BID) has been in operation since April 2010 and is a not-for-profit organisation with the aim of improving the trading conditions for the businesses that contribute a BID levy.

The Worcester BID includes more than 650 businesses across various sectors, boasting one of the highest numbers of independent businesses in the country. We aim to buck trends, grow awareness of our city for both visitors and investors and support you and your business day and night.

Worcester BID is accountable to its members and is governed by a voluntary board of Directors. Our board is representative of a wide range of sectors in the BID area.

The UK legislation requires BIDs to seek a business mandate through a ballot every five years.
PREPARING FOR THE NEXT FIVE YEARS
All members of BID contribute a levy to Worcester BID for the services provided. Presently, we apply a levy multiplier of 1.5% and a rateable value threshold of £7,500. These terms are currently under review in preparation for BID4.

This gives an annual budget of £415,000, to cover all aspects of the business plan.

We value your input and appreciate your time in completing this survey. Your priorities will be given significant consideration in the formation of the next five-year plan.
