- Determine your Current and Goal Zones.
Current Zone = average number of daily steps from Oct 1-2
(i.e., if <5,000 steps/day – choose zone 1)
(i.e., if <5,000 steps/day – choose zone 1)
Goal Zone = challenge yourself to reach the daily step goal for the next zone from Oct 3 – 30 (i.e., if current zone is 1, select zone 2 and strive to get 5,001-7,500 steps/day)
Zone 1 <5,000 steps/day
Zone 2 5,001-7,500 steps/day
Zone 3 7,501 – 10,000 steps/day
Zone 4 10,001 – 12,500 steps/day
Zone 5 12,501+ steps/day
Continue walking through Oct 30th, recording your weekly steps by Oct 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31.
