STAC 2023 Conference & Exhibition Call for Speaker Proposals

All speaker proposals are reviewed by event organizers and the STAC Steering Committee. Presenters will receive an email from CWTA Events & Special Projects Coordinator Isabela Jimenez by October 31, 2022 if their session is selected.

The submission of a completed proposal form does not guarantee the submitter or presenter(s) a speaking slot at the STAC 2023 Conference & Exhibition 

Presenters will not receive financial compensation from STAC or the CWTA to present a session. Speakers will receive a complimentary, full conference pass to the STAC 2023 Conference & Exhibition. Funding for travel or accommodation is not provided to speakers presenting at the STAC 2023 Conference & Exhibition. Speakers are also responsible for the cost of their accommodations.

Session content should not be promotional in nature and should remain unbiased with respect to any mention of manufacturers and their products.
 
The following criteria will be used by STAC 2023 conference planners and the STAC Steering Committee when reviewing speaker proposals:
  • Relevance to the conference program themes and objectives
  • Innovation and fresh insights
  • Knowledge and expertise of the speaker
  • Research-based content where appropriate or relevant
  • Learning outcomes/audience engagement
  • Previous speaking experience
  • Diversity of speaker background, experiences, perspectives, and ideas
