1. Welcome to the Community Social Services Bargaining Association (CSSBA) shiftwork survey

The Community Social Services Bargaining Association (CSSBA) is gathering information on shiftwork in B.C.'s Community Social Services sector.

The following survey has been designed to gather information about members' experiences with shiftwork in their current workplaces, including:
  • impacts on members' health, wellbeing and family lives;
  • impacts on workplace staffing, recruitment and retention; and
  • whether additional pay for shiftwork could play a role in addressing some of these challenges.
For the purposes of this survey, "shiftwork" is defined as evening, overnight and weekend work outside the standard Monday-Friday daytime work week.

Please take 5-10 minutes to fill out and submit this online survey by no later than midnight January 12, 2025.

Please note: participants' personal information, privacy and confidentiality will be fully protected. Thank you for your participation. Your contributions and feedback are extremely important to us.

Sincerely,
Community Social Services Bargaining Association (CSSBA)
