Why get involved?
Serving on the College Council is an important opportunity for registered early childhood educators (RECEs) to take part in the self-regulation of their profession in the public interest. As a Council member, you can help establish professional standards and uphold the regulatory mandate of the College. You will also connect with individuals from other fields and share information on a variety of topics relating to professional self-regulation and early childhood education. Council Members are required to attend 10-20 meetings per year and are paid an honorarium per day. Most meetings are conducted virtually, but some meetings are held in person in Toronto, in which case reasonable travel and accommodation costs are reimbursed.
