King County Sewer Capacity Charges Testimony

Right now King County need 156,000 affordable homes right now, and we need to be doing whatever we can to reduce barriers and increase production and preservation. By allowing affordable development to be exempt from paying a sewer capacity charge, it will help reduce the cost of affordable housing development. This exemption will allow developers to build more and more affordable which aligns with the Council's goals of ensuring everyone in King County has access to a safe, healthy, and affordable home.
