The purpose of this survey is to collect information about the types of activities people engage in when searching for a job. Your answers will help us improve questions and interviewing procedures for BLS surveys that collect information about employment and job-search activities.

This survey is voluntary and your answers will be used for research purposes only. We expect that the survey will take no more than 15 minutes to complete, and you may stop at any time. This survey has been approved by OMB under control number 1220-0141, with an expiration date of February 28, 2015. Without a currently valid number BLS would not be able to conduct this survey.
