Thank you for taking Understanding Houston's second biennial survey!

As an extra thank you for your time, we will randomly select three winners among completed survey respondents to make a $1,000 grant to a nonprofit of your choice. See details and terms below. 

This 7-minute survey is designed to capture how Understanding Houston, as a website and initiative, has been beneficial to users and to solicit feedback on the completion of a major website update and refresh. 

We believe in user feedback and value your time and insight. As data lovers and enthusiasts, we will use the information you provide to enhance the website and guide our work now and in the future.

Grant Drawing Details and Terms
Greater Houston Community Foundation will randomly select three respondents who complete the survey in its entirety before December 15, 2023 extended to December 22, to recommend a $1,000 grant to an eligible nonprofit organization. Organizations must fulfill the following minimum eligibility requirements:
  • A registered 501(c)(3) organization in good financial standing, according to Guidestar;
  • Must be registered, located, and serve clients in Fort Bend, Harris, or Montgomery counties; and
  • Not listed as a hate group, as identified by the Southern Poverty Law Center or other reputable organization.
