Description of the research and participation
At any time if a participant wishes to withdraw from participation, that decision will be respected. The impact of empathy on medical students, entrepreneurial intentions and their skill set with digital technology through advancement of medical school. Since the report covers such a broad range of topics, your assistance in providing answers to specific questions is critical to achieving the study's objectives.
Your participation will involve completing the survey in four pivotal phases, starting with demographic information, personal related data (age, gender, education level, entrepreneurial intentions, and cultural competency). The scales to measure participants responses are also comprised of Jefferson Scale on Empathy, Entrepreneurial Intentions Questionnaire, and the Adapted Version of the e-Health European Medical Association Survey (EMSA). The survey open-ended questions would number from a range of ten to forty. As participant, you are asked to respond to the questions with truthfulness, the online surveys are designed to last approximately 30 minutes.
Risks and discomforts
There are certain risks or discomforts associated with this research. The participants may experience some anxiety in answering the questions, but the researchers will reassure participants that information will be confidential, and any data collected will only test psychological theories. Participants can stop participation in the research study if they feel any adverse reaction when responding to survey questions.

Potential benefits
Six random participants of this study will receive $25.00 via a raffle drawing. The raffle will occur after the 180 completed surveys have been assessed. All participants will be prompted to leave their email addresses and name at the end of the survey which will be used as part of the raffle. The financial incentive is for the completion of the surveys. Overall, this research may help us to understand how medical students ‘perceptions on empathy, entrepreneurship, and digital technology in medical school.

All data will be maintained in a password protected hard drive that only the researcher can access. We will collect names and email addresses; they will be secured with the completed surveys. All data collected will be erased at least 3 years after the completion of this study. Data collection during the survey will be kept confidential. We will do everything we can to protect your privacy. Your identity, as well as any information about the responses you submitted, will not be disclosed in any publications arising from this report.
