Affiliate Members refer to those publicly recognized organizations which are actively involved in coordinating and/or regulating sport opportunities for Islanders, but are not a PSO or SGB.
a) Must be incorporated under the Prince Edward Island Companies Act as a not-for-profit organization (Part II Company) or be an association affiliated with an educational institution.
b) Must contribute to amateur sport through its activities.
c) Must have been active for at least one (1) year immediately preceding the date of membership application.
d) Members must attend the Sport PEI Annual General Meeting. Any member, who without reasonable cause prior to the Affiliate’s Annual General Meeting, fails to attend the Annual General Meeting will be placed on one year probation.
e) Must have paid the current year’s dues by June 1st.
