* The Impacts of Video-Based Educational Session (Covid-19 vaccines and Their Rumors) on the Knowledge and Attitude of Taking the Vaccine among Saudi Population

In response to the global and national awareness about the COVID-19 and its vaccines, this study provides an essential evidence-based framework that helps the healthcare stakeholder such as policymakers and providers to reconsider the potential factors that may diminish the appropriate utilization of the current COVID-19 vaccines. Indeed, it may help healthcare policymakers develop urgent and proper strategies to overcome potential factors that prevent the Saudi population from taking the available vaccines.

Based on that, we would like to conduct this study to evaluate the impact of the Video-based Educational Session of COVID-19 vaccines on the Knowledge and Attitude of Taking the Vaccines among the Saudi population. Participation is entirely voluntary, and you can discontinue the completion of the study at any time without penalty. You will be assigned randomly either to the experimental group (individuals who will watch the video) or the control group (individuals who won't watch the video).  At the end of the study, you will access the posttest.

No personal identifiers will be reported. Further, the findings will be reported as aggregate data. All the data will be saved in one computer, which requires password access. Further, to maintain the equity between the study groups in terms of accessibility of the study intervention, the control group will access the video materials after finalizing the study results. 

 

استجابة للوعي العالمي والوطني حول كوفيد-١٩ ولقاحاته ، توفر هذه الدراسة إطارًا أساسيًا قائمًا على الأدلة يساعد أصحاب القرار و المصلحة في الرعاية الصحية مثل مقدمي الخدمات على إعادة النظر في العوامل المحتملة التي قد تقلل من الاستخدام المناسب للقاحات كوفيد-١٩. هذا قد يساعد صانعي القرارات في الرعاية الصحية على تطوير  استراتيجيات عاجلة ومناسبة للتغلب على العوامل المحتملة التي تمنع السكان السعوديين من أخذ اللقاحات المتاحة.

بناءً على ذلك ، نود إجراء هذه الدراسة لتقييم تأثير الجلسة التعليمية القائمة على الفيديو لقاحات كوفيد-١٩ لقياس مدى المعرفة في السعودية وموقفهم من أخذ اللقاحات. المشاركة اختيارية تمامًا ، ويمكنك التوقف عن إكمال الدراسة في أي وقت دون عقوبة. سيتم تعيينك بشكل عشوائي إما إلى المجموعة التجريبية

( الأفراد الذين سيشاهدون الفيديو) أو المجموعة الضابطة ( الأفراد الذين لن يشاهدوا الفيديو). في نهاية الدراسة ، ستتلقى رابطًا للاختبار.

لن يتم الإبلاغ عن أي معرّفات شخصية . علاوة على ذلك ، سيتم الإبلاغ عن النتائج كبيانات مجمعة. سيتم حفظ جميع البيانات في جهاز كمبيوتر واحد ، مما يتطلب الوصول إلى كلمة المرور. علاوة على ذلك ، للحفاظ على المساواة بين مجموعات الدراسة من حيث إمكانية الوصول إلى تدخل الدراسة ، ستصل المجموعة الضابطة إلى مواد الفيديو بعد الانتهاء من نتائج الدراسة.
