Sydney Montessori School - School Climate and Engagement Survey: Parents 2023
Dear Parents/Carers,
We greatly value the active involvement of parents, carers, families, and friends in our school.
Your feedback and engagement plays a pivotal role in nurturing a positive and collaborative environment, ultimately contributing to the overall enhancement of our school.
In this survey, we are interested in learning more about the school's climate, your thoughts, feelings, and attitudes towards Sydney Montessori School and the opportunities for school engagement.
In pursuit of this, the School Board and Management have established a dedicated Community Engagement Working Group. This group is focused on measuring the ‘school climate’ and seeking to improve and enrich the engagement of parents and caregivers. To begin this journey, we are keen to gain insights from you, our valued school community members, on how you perceive the school climate and how you would like to contribute and participate in school activities.
Your input is of utmost importance to us. We genuinely want to hear your thoughts and ideas. To make your voice heard, we have prepared a survey that should take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.
Please consider your child's overall experience at school.
This survey is to help us understand different aspects of the parent/school relationship. Your answers will be used in aggregate, and we will not be evaluating individual responses. Some of the questions will be aggregated for reporting as part of our School Annual Report. As such, please be as honest as possible - there are no right or wrong answers.
Occasionally the syntax or grammar of the question may appear a little different. We draw questions from a range of sources, including the Department of Education and the Harvard Graduate School of Education, for use by schools in Australia and around the world, and as some have benchmark data they cannot easily be modified.
