The Women’s Wellness Intrauterine Neuroimmune Modulation Study - Phase 1B Initial
Introduction to questionnaire
We warmly invite you to participate in our research project looking at a new intrauterine device (the Alyra Device) that we believe may offer a new way of helping people with difficult to manage pain and pain-related symptoms.
Principle Investigator, Professor Louise Hull, a great team of gynaecologists including Dr Tran Nguyen, Dr Sally Reid and Dr Rituparna Dutta, as well as the wonderful nursing team at PARC will care for all our study participants throughout the trial.
During the trial, you are free to withdraw early from the study if the device doesn't suit you.
For our first study participants, we wish to enrol people who have already had at least one baby. Trial participation will then be available to a wider group of people, including those who have not been pregnant.
The trial involves one overnight stay at the PARC centre, as well as other visits over 5 months.
At the end of the survey there will be an opportunity to leave your contact details with us. We will then be able to contact you with further information about the trial.
