The Forum for Education Research in/for/by Africa is convened by Echidna Giving, Imaginable Futures, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Porticus, and facilitated by On Think Tanks.

The Forum will help co-produce a set of principles to inform the funding decisions of a potential consortium of education research funders in Africa.

The Forum has been designed with the support of a Steering Group whose members include: Jane Kabubo-Mariara (Partnership for Economic Policy), Barassou Diawara (African Capacity Building Foundation),  Kwame Owino (Institute of Economic Affairs), Andrea Ordoñez (Southern Voice), Francesco Obino (Global Development Network), Joe Asunka (Afrobarometer), Moses Ngware (African Population and Health Research Center) and Emmanuel Manyasa (Usawa Agenda).
