No. You do not have to be a financial member of Dogs NZ but you must be a financial member of a Dogs NZ dog training club. No. Any member of the public can enter a Champ Rally-O event. What is the last day that a host club may accept Championship Rally-O event entries? All entries must be received by the scheduled closing date. Entries may be accepted up to seven days prior to the date of the event. Entries may be accepted up to three days prior to the date of the event. Entries may be accepted on the day of the event. OK Question Title * 4. You are very organised and have entered a Rally-O Show a month ahead of the closing date. Two days before the official closing date, you contact the host club to withdraw. Are you entitled to a refund? Yes. You are eligible to receive a full refund of all entry fees. Yes. You are eligible to receive a refund less levies payable to Dogs NZ. Yes. You are eligible to receive a refund less levies payable to Dogs NZ and a club administration fee. Yes. You are eligible to receive a full refund upon the provision of a medical or veterinary certificate to the host club. OK Question Title * 5. Six days before the first day of a Championship Rally-O show, your dog is injured and you decide to withdraw? Are you entitled to a full refund of entry fees? No refunds are payable after the official entry closing date. No. Any refund will be less Dogs NZ (NZKC) Levies. Yes if you ask the host club for a full refund at the same time that you withdraw from the show. Yes if you provide the host club with a veterinary certificate. OK Question Title * 6. The host club has told you that they have received more entries that they expected and they need to split the class you are entered in. Are you eligible for a refund if the class is split? No. Yes if you do not like the scheduled reserve judge. Yes if a non-scheduled judge is used. Only if the test manager decides that all competitors are entitled to a refund. OK Question Title * 7. On the first morning of the show, the judge advises all competitors that she has changed the running order so that the two Excellent B classes will run first and second. This is to accommodate the handlers. Can she do this? No. Classes must be run as advertised in the official schedule. Yes. The judge is in absolute control of their ring and can do what they want. Yes if the Test Manager agrees. Yes if the Show Disputes Committee agrees. OK Question Title * 8. At the end of your first Champ Rally-O show, you have three Novice qualifying certificates from two different judges for your dog. Can you put "RN" after its name straight away? Yes if you want to. Yes if the Region Representative gives you permission. Yes if the Dog Obedience Committee gives you permission. No. You cannot add the RN suffix to your dog's name until you receive its title certificate from Dogs NZ. OK Question Title * 9. So you have these three qualifying certificates but your dog isn't registered with Dogs NZ. Can you still apply for its title? Yes if you, as the owner, are a financial member of Dogs NZ. No. Only dogs registered with Dogs NZ can receive official Dogs NZ titles and awards. Yes if your Region Representative has given your dog an exemption. It is not necessary as your dog is still eligible to compete in the next higher class. OK Question Title * 10. You are ready to send in your dog's application for it Rally-O Novice (RN) title. Do you need to send the original certificates to Dogs NZ Head Office? Yes. Your application must include the original signed certificates. No. Certificates are optional. No but you must include photocopies of the original certificates. No. You can send in an email application with electronic copies of the certificates. OK DONE
