Introduction and Eligibility

The New Zealand Milking & Pumping Trade Association (NZMPTA) Water Industry Certificate of Recognition (the Certificate) is designed to acknowledge the skills and experience of technicians working in the water-based pumping systems industry (the industry), particularly those with many years of practical experience.

These technicians may not have formal trade training or qualifications; however, throughout their career in the industry they have acquired invaluable skills and knowledge, making them valuable assets to the sector.

Technicians who meet the eligibility criteria are invited to apply for this Certificate by completing the sections below, providing background of relevant work history and a self-assessment of their level of knowledge and skills in various areas of the industry.

Once completed, the information provided will be assessed by NZMPTA and your referee(s) may be contacted to verify your skill level in the industry.
