Purpose
The principal investigator involved in this research is a psychology student enrolled in the Faculty of Social Sciences' Psychology program at Vancouver Island University. This study seeks to advance our comprehension of eating behaviours in the Canadian population. It is hoped that this investigation will contribute to the future understanding of individual eating habits and problematic eating behaviour treatments.
Description
You are kindly invited to participate in this voluntary online survey. The survey covers various topics, including eating behaviours, social behaviours, health anxiety, and social media use. It is estimated that your participation will take approximately 25-30 minutes.
Potential Direct Benefits and Risk of Harm to Participants
Participating in this study will not directly benefit you. Some of the survey questions may make you uncomfortable. To minimize this risk, you are free to decline to answer any question you do not wish to or withdraw from participation at any time by closing your browser. If you close your browser before clicking the 'submit' button at the end of the survey, the information you provide will not be used in the study. The survey is anonymous, meaning no personally identifiable information will be collected. Please refrain from including your name or any context that might directly or indirectly identify you.
