Te Hononga Taiao | The Nature Connection is a research project conducted by Trails & Tots, an outdoor community organization in Taranaki, New Zealand. The project is funded through Venture Taranaki's PSP Curious Minds funding.

The aim of this project is to examine the experiences that parents in Aotearoa have in spending time outdoors with their child(ren). You do not have to consider yourself an outdoorsy person to complete the survey!

This survey will look at potential benefits to time outdoors as a new parent, as well as possible barriers that may exist in whanau getting outdoors. Our end goal is to better understand how parents can be supported in spending time outdoors, with and without their child(ren), and provide this information to relevant stakeholders.
The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes.
All information shared is anonymous and confidential.
