ARRT Bone Densitometry Equipment Operator Proposed Content Specifications Survey |
Introduction
The content included in the bone densitometry equipment operator exam for state licensure is based, in part, on the results of periodic job analyses conducted by ARRT. Previous suveys for bone densitomety technologists and bone densitometry equipment operators have shown both groups perform very similar tasks. In April 2024, a survey was sent to 1,000 bone densitometry technologists with questions about activities that they may perform. The Bone Densitometry Practice Analysis Committee reviewed the results of the survey and recommended updates based on the returned surveys.
