WISCAP is releasing this Request for Proposals for the 2024 Poverty Matters Conference. The Poverty Matters Conference will take place Wednesday, October 9 and Thursday, October 10 at the Blue Harbor Resort in Sheboygan, WI

All proposals should be submitted by close-of-business August 30, 2024. Questions can be directed to Tom Behnke at tbehnke@wiscap.org. Sessions typically run about 75 minutes (60 minute presentation with 10-15 minutes for questions). Incomplete proposals will not be considered.

As Wisconsin’s only statewide conference, the Poverty Matters Conference serves as a regional platform to raise awareness on issues impacting low-income families. For over 40 years, this conference has served as a major convening of state and federal agencies, community action agencies, individuals, and stakeholders dedicated to identifying common sense solutions and approaches to address and eliminate poverty.
