Focused General Plan Update and Brea Core Specific Plan Survey

Thank you for your interest in the City of Brea’s Focused General Plan Update and Brea Core Specific Plan!

The City is excited to embark on the process of preparing a focused update to the City’s General Plan and a new Specific Plan for the Core Area. Most of Brea’s current General Plan elements date back to 2003, and a lot has changed since then. Additionally, preparation of a new Specific Plan for the Core Area will help to implement the City’s long-term vision for this unique area of the City by providing specific direction for development. The Brea Core area is generally described as the area between Lambert Road (on the north), SR-57/Brea Plaza (on the east), Imperial Highway (on the south), and Berry Street (on the west).

Throughout the project process, the City will provide various opportunities for you to share your vision for the future of Brea. Community input will help make sure that these plans convey the values and priorities of Brea community.

The following questions will help the City gain a broad perspective of views and values in the community to help craft a General Plan that is reflective of local concerns and priorities. Your opinion and input are greatly appreciated. Please complete one questionnaire per person.
