The DEI Team is recruiting!

Greetings!

We are so happy you are here. Thank you so much for your interest in joining the DEI Team here at WithinReach!

Here is some important information for you before you apply:
  • We are giving priority to our client-facing team members. We feel it is important to increase direct service representation on our team to make sure those voices are centered in our work.
  • We are giving priority to BIPOC (especially Black and Indigenous team members) and/or LGBTQIA+ team members.
  • We ask that you apply the tools we have recently shared in our internal workshop surrounding power and privilege to assess whether or not your lived experience is representative of those who are marginalized. If not, we ask that you create space for those with marginalized identities to have the opportunity to engage in this work in your place.
In joining our team, you will receive a monthly stipend for your time and energy. We hope to recruit 3 new folks to our team. Depending on how many of those seats get filled, the monthly stipend amount will range from $100-$200 monthly. We meet twice monthly and you will need to commit to one of the roles outlined below in our application process. This work will fall into your existing 40 hour/week working schedule, you will work with your supervisor on adjusting your schedule as needed to support you in this work. This would be a 5-hour commitment monthly. We ask that you consent to a 6-month commitment upon joining the team.

We will keep this application open until filled with priority recruitment to those who apply on or before January 31, 2023. And encourage all interested to apply! We commit to communicating promptly and transparently with all applicants.

After January 31st, we will schedule a round of conversation-style interviews with applicants to talk through their goals and any questions they may have in joining the team. Once those interviews are complete, we hope to confirm these seats by mid-February 2023.

We anticipate receiving quite a few applications to join the team, and we commit to exploring other ways of getting you more deeply involved in our work if we move forward with another candidate.

Thank you for showing up for this work.

In solidarity,

The DEI Team
