Harmony Public Schools is seeking input for proposed changes on RIBICS/Playbook plan.
These changes include:
- Vaccinations are highly recommended and available for 6+ months.
- For a student who is symptomatic, to return to school one of the following must be met and submitted to the individual’s campus health aide.
- Obtain a negative COVID-19 test, and 24 hours have passed since symptoms resolved;
- At least 24 hours have passed since recovery, defined as resolution of fever, diarrhea, or vomiting without the use of symptoms suppressing medications such as Tylenol or fever reducers ;
- Symptoms have improved, and at least 5 days have passed since symptoms first appeared.
- For students who are positive for COVID-19, the following must be met to return to campus:
- The student must quarantine no less than 5 days from the date of positive testing, AND;
- The student must be free of fever, vomiting, or diarrhea for 24 hours without the use of symptom-suppressing medications.
- Harmony Public Schools will not provide virtual instruction through remote conferencing.
