MacEwan University is in the process of planning the formal dates for the 2025-2026 academic year, through what is known as the Academic Calendar. This calendar includes the dates of Fall and Winter Reading Week, the date for Convocation, semester start and end dates, and other significant dates in the academic year. This year, Macewan has proposed to REMOVE the Fall Reading Week in an effort to eliminate the possibility of final exams on Sundays. As your advocates at SAMU, we want to understand how you value your Fall reading week and how this compares to other calendar proposals. The following survey is intended to gauge your preferences. All data will be anonymized and used only for advocacy purposes. To thank you for your participation, all respondents can enter a draw for one of five grocery gift cards, valued at $50 each.
