SPARK! Places of Innovation Teacher Workshop

This SPARK! Places of Innovation Teacher Workshop will be held Tuesday, June 24 - Wednesday, June 25, 2025 in Sylacauga. Participants will use their imaginations to consider inspiring the imaginations of students (Grades 5 - 12). Offered to complement the Smithsonian's SPARK! PLACES OF INNOVATION exhibit and its 2025 - 2026 tour of Alabama, the workshop is offered in partnership with Design Alabama. Dr. Maria Delgado of Auburn University will offer a lesson in Matterport Design Tool Integration for K-12 classrooms. A tour of the SPARK exhibit is also part of the workshop agenda.

The two-day workshop will take place at B.B. Comer Memorial Library, 314 N Broadway Ave, Sylacauga, AL 35150. Refreshments, three meals, materials and resources are provided.
