FED: Food Expo and Discussion Call For Proposals |
FED 2020: Get Dirty!
For this year’s FED, we are trying something new! We’re excited to extend a warm invitation to YOU to submit proposals for a breakout session or workshop that will help educate and empower your fellow community members. Sessions typically run for 45 minutes and can include a single presenter or panel format. In keeping with this year’s theme, preference will be given to proposals that emphasize advocacy in our local communities and region, a/or hands-on workshops for farmers, gardeners, and homesteaders. We are also open to alternative format proposals such as art and media installations, posters, and lightning talks. We host FED for the community, and want to know what YOU would like to see!
The NWI Food Council is committed to cultivating diverse knowledge and programming. We believe that knowledge and our community are strengthened by a variety of perspectives, and we strive to create an inclusive, respectful environment that invites participation from people of all races, ethnicities, genders, ages, abilities, religions, and sexual orientation. We strongly encourage individuals from historically underrepresented groups to submit proposals! All proposals must be submitted by November 11 at 5pm CST. Sessions will be selected and participants notified by early December.
