An Introduction to our Research Project

We warmly invite you to participate in our research project looking at a new intrauterine device (the Alyra Device) that we believe may offer a new way of helping people with difficult to manage pain and pain-related symptoms.

Principal Investigator Professor Louise Hull, and a great team of gynaecologists including Dr Tran Nguyen, Dr Sally Reid, Dr Rituparna Dutta, as well as their wonderful nursing team, at PARC RAH, will care for all our study participants throughout the trial.

During the trial, you are free to withdraw early from the study if the device doesn't suit you.

This trial involves 6 visits over a 5 month period.

At the end of the survey there will be an opportunity to leave your contact details with us. We will then be able to contact you with further information about the trial.
