CEC HIGH PERFORMANCE PROGRAM STRUCTURE, COMMUNITY SURVEY
Opening Comments, Français ci-dessous
Climbing Escalade Canada (CEC) is continuing their full association review with this survey as part of the High Performance Program (HPP) review and we would like your input in this area. There are 5 sections which align with the strategic pillars that Own The Podium (Government of Canada’s HPP Sport Sector) deems critical to supporting high performance culture and success on the international stage and provides the framework for which a National Sport Organization is evaluated on annually to determine support levels.
This survey is also conducted in the perspective of the published objective for the High Performance Program as stated in the current criteria,
“The CEC has the objective to support Canadian competition climbers at each level of high-performance development with the purpose of increasing the number of Canadian athletes achieving top 15 results at World Cup, World Championships and Olympic competitions. “
If you need to reference the current policies and processes, visit the policies on the CEC website at this link: https://climbingcanada.ca/high-performance-program/
CEC is asking for feedback from different groups within the community, if statements or questions do not relate to your position or experience, please use the N/A option.
Finally and with respect, this survey is to generate forward thinking on solutions. We know that situations are not perfect in Climbing Escalade Canada and that it is difficult for CEC to provide everything that high performance athletes need with no funding. This is your chance to provide constructive input, think outside the box and offer potential solutions you think will support our athletes and program.
