Why

A comprehensive plan describes a community’s goals for the future and how the community will pursue those goals. The Town of Jay’s comprehensive plan was written in 1980 and last updated in 1997. Over the next two to three years, the Town of Jay will update its plan. Please share your ideas to help us identify issues, understand concerns and guide the community’s future.


All full- and part-time residents, property owners, business owners, frequent visitors, and those who work in the Town of Jay are encouraged to participate in this survey. The Town of Jay includes the hamlets of Jay, Upper Jay, Au Sable Forks, the development of Au Sable Acres, and outlying areas of the Town of Jay. All questions refer to the entirety of the Town.


Survey responses are confidential. This survey will remain open for responses through November 22, 2024.
