Training Registration:
Confronting the Harmful Impacts of Racism & Bias on Maternal & Child Health through Family Home Visiting Foundational Series

The Minnesota Coalition for Family Home Visiting (MCFHV) is offering this free foundational training series to increase awareness about the impacts of bias and racism on maternal and child health inequities in family home visiting. Over four months, attendees will increase their ability to identify and understand their biases and learn strategies to mitigate the impacts it has on maternal and child health outcomes.

Purpose:
The purpose of this foundational training series is to reduce inequities in maternal and child health outcomes that result from bias and racism in the home visiting field, and to improve the trust and connections between families and their home visitors.

This training series is offered in partnership and with support from the  Otto Bremer Trust, UCARE, LaCroix-Dalluhn Consulting, & Metro Alliance for Healthy Families.

ABOUT REGISTRATION: 

This training series is offered free of charge to participating home visitors. However, participants are strongly encouraged to commit to actively participate in all four in-person training sessions to gain the greatest understanding and increased knowledge. 


Below are the monthly dates and locations for the training series. We ask participants to identify their preferred location each month (note: participants may move between locations in order to attend each monthly session). 

You will receive an email confirmation once you've been formally accepted into the training series. Please hold these dates and times on your calendar until you receive confirmation.
