Listing and annotation: Lecithin—de-oiled
Use: As a nonorganically produced agricultural products allowed as an ingredient in or on processed products labeled as “organic" only when the product is not commercially available in organic form.
Common applications: Powdered or granular forms. Fluid lecithin must be organic. Wide range of applications including emulsification, release properties, wetting, dispersing and texturizing. Major applications include margarine, chocolates, instantizing powders, release sprays and baked goods.
