Introducing... The B.K.A.!

The Phi Kappa Tau Executive Offices realize that the success of a fraternity is an all around team effort. We want to give you, our undergraduate leaders, the chance to spotlight a selected member of your chapter for their longstanding accomplishments.

This document serves as an official application to have the selected brother possibly featured in the Laurel, Phi Kappa Tau executive newsletters, and perhaps most prestigiously: forever cemented in your chapters history in a brand new initiative: The Brother's Keeper Archive. (B.K.A.)

Upon approval into a chapter's B.K.A, nominated members will be gifted with an exclusive PKT badge (Pictured Below), displaying their honorable place in our fraternity. Members of your B.K.A. will be not only be recognized in the Phi Tau internal records for the entirety of your chapter, but your brother's story will be included  in official Phi Tau communication (social media, Laurel, etc.) for the entirety of our Fraternity to appreciate! The title holds no notable rank and their is certainly no additional status, but nominated and approved members of a chapter's B.K.A. may feel as though they have cemented an legacy upon their respective chapter. Being a part of the upper echelon of Phi Kappa Tau sure wouldn't hurt on a resume either!

Qualifications to apply:
1) A member can not submit themselves.
2) Submitted members MUST be active in the chapter for a minimum of 3 academic semesters. (Note: Initiated, Associate, or Alumni status do not carry any weight in decision making. It is preferred that nominations remain from 2021 and beyond)
3) Submitted members MUST be in good standing with their chapter of origin.
4) Submitted members must have participated in and honorable endeavor, something tangible and able to verify. "Drake hosting a rager with over 600 people" just isn't going to fly.
5) Submitted member must give their permission before application approval is complete.

The ultimate goal of  this initiative is to recognize longstanding officers for their outstanding achievements in their time spent in the chapter. This honor is only as sacred as you make it. We ask that you please take this project seriously and keep in mind all submissions must be approved by the chapter's Success Manager before they are eligible to join a chapter's B.K.A.
