The Town of Upper Marlboro, with the Upper Marlboro Arts Council, released a call to Maryland artists for a mural project on Main Street. The Town received a planning grant from the Maryland State Art Council to select two artists for this initiative. Out of 32 submissions, semi-finalists were selected for each site to submit a full proposal.
We are now asking you, the community, to help us decide which artist’s mural design should be selected. Please review each artist's proposal which includes a mural design and artist statement. We ask you to provide feedback and vote for your favorite mural for each site location.
Voting will remain open until Sunday, October 10.
