Newburgh Natural Resources Public Opinion Survey |

The City of Newburgh is preparing an inventory of all natural resources and green spaces in the City. This includes City parks, the Hudson River waterfront, Quassaick Creek, Snake Hill, and Muchattoes Lake, among others. This also includes City-owned watershed lands in the Towns of Newburgh and New Windsor.
The City wants your opinions about how important natural areas and green spaces are to you, how you use and get to these areas, and how Newburgh can improve the quality and accessibility of its green spaces. When green spaces are mentioned in the Survey, these include both the land and any waters found on them, like ponds, streams and wetlands.
Your responses to the questions will guide the City in helping residents get to know more about these green spaces and to help the City improve accessibility to these areas. It will also assist in planning for different ways to manage them as parks, trails and nature preserves for Newburgh’s residents.
