How can we better value, respect and care for the Motueka River and the special waterways in our catchment?
This is a question the community wants the MCC to prioritise. The Living River Thematic Group was formed to explore this priority.
We need more community members in this group to progress actions. Please register your interest to join!
The group meets every 4-6 weeks for 2 hours. They discuss what actions can be taken to progress this priority. The most recent event they held was the Wai Pasifica event about indigenous perspectives towards our freshwater. The group is supported by paid MCC staff.
