The future of Local Welfare Assistance (including what is currently the Household Support Fund and Holiday Activities and Food programme) and the role of the voluntary and community sector in supporting this.
The ‘No Recourse to Public Funds’ policy as a driver of child poverty in London
Strengthening the social security system for children (this could include finding ways to build evidence to support national campaigns to abolish the 2 child-limit, calls for an ‘Essentials’ Guarantee’ as proposed by Trussell and JRF and/or for a ‘Child lock’ on child related benefits as championed by Save the Children).
