ACERA Medicare Rider Options Survey

ACERA is considering adding three new Medicare plan riders to the Kaiser Permanente Senior Advantage Medicare Plan for the 2026 plan year. These riders would enhance benefits for retirees but would also result in additional costs to the Supplemental Retiree Benefit Reserve (SRBR) and increase the monthly premium amount for all members enrolled in the plan, regardless of whether they use the benefits. Your feedback will inform the Board of Retirement as they consider whether to add these options.
