Community Assessment Panels are vital to the work The Leap does, we genuinely believe in 'people powered' arts and culture and want decisions to be taken by those living, working and studying in Bradford and Keighley. Training and support will be provided - you do not need to have had previous experience. We greatly appreciate you offering to join one of our Community Assessment Panels and the information you give will help us get the right people on the right panels. Thank You

* 11. There are two stages of involvement for our assessors when looking at the applications for one of our programmes. We will provide training to enable you to undertake the assessments.

The first stage: is to read all the applications for an Awards programme (eg Radical Socials, Pioneers, Your Way or Festivals) and score them. The scoring exercise will be carried out remotely and you will have a week in which to do this. You will receive applications to assess. Your scoring and that of the other assessors will result in the overall highest scoring applications going through to the second stage. This will equate to approximately 2 days of reading and scoring. You will have 1 week in which to return your scores. We expect this stage to be from 25th November to 1st December.

The second stage: The highest scoring applications will go through to the interview stage. This will be an in-person session and will require a maximum of 2 days commitment for the interviews plus pre-reading of those applications. We expect the interviews to fall between 2nd and 14th December.

We do need some assessors who can commit to both parts of the process as this will provide continuity of decison making, however you can choose to take part in either, or both, of these stages.

Please indicate below which stage(s) you would like to be involved with:
