For an individual who exemplifies characteristics of IPSA as described below.

The Lifetime Achievement Award for the Independent Professional Seed Association is a prestigious recognition given to a member who has made significant, long-term contributions to the seed industry, particularly in support of independent businesses. The criteria for this award should reflect the magnitude of the recipient's career-spanning achievements. Those who are eligible for the award can be currently involved in the seed industry or retired from any IPSA Member Company. 

This Nominee should exemplify the following:

1. Long-Term Member: The nominee should have been an active member of the Independent Professional Seed Association for a substantial portion of their career, demonstrating commitment and loyalty to the association and its mission.

2. Career Accomplishments: The nominee should have a substantial record of significant achievements in the seed industry that have made a lasting impact on the advancement of independent businesses.

3. Leadership: The nominee has demonstrated outstanding leadership throughout their career, influencing the industry's direction and advocating for the interests of independent businesses in the seed industry. 

4. Industry Innovation: The nominee has consistently been at the forefront of industry innovation, contributing to major advancements in seed technology, business practices, or industry standards.

5. Service to the Association: The nominee has shown dedication to serving the Independent Professional Seed Association, either through roles within the association, active participation in initiatives, or significant contributions to the association's growth and success.

6. Mentorship and Education: The nominee has a record of mentoring younger professionals in the seed industry and has contributed to education and knowledge-sharing within the community.

7. Ethical Standards: The nominee has consistently upheld high ethical standards in all of their professional endeavors, serving as a model for integrity in the seed industry. 

8. Advocacy: The nominee has a history of advocating for the seed industry, independent businesses, and/or issues critical to the Independent sector. 

9. Community Impact: The nominee has made substantial contributions to their local, regional, or the global community, which could include social, economic, or environmental initiatives.
