Session Proposals Due by April 30, 2025.
Session speakers receive free registration to conference educational sessions but are responsible for their own travel and transportation.
Each session must have a leader. This person serves as the primary point of contact with Preservation NC. The lead is responsible for coordinating the session and any speakers (including all session preparation), and conveying tech needs to Preservation NC staff.
The lead does not need to serve as tech support during the session. Preservation NC will provide staff for that purpose.
Proposed sessions should appeal to a broad audience of historic preservation enthusiasts and generalists. Have you been involved in a local project or initiative others could benefit from? Do you want to organize a panel to lead a collaborative conversation on an issue? Have you finished a research project with a discovery you want to share? All ideas are welcome! From entry level to expert, we want to hear from you. If you're unsure about your proposed session, don't worry, fill out the proposal as best you can and we'll follow up to work out the details of your idea to see if it's a good fit.
